When you are bathed in therapeutic sound it can help to heal mind, body and emotions. The experience of a sound bath is deeply relaxing, restorative, balancing, cleansing and healing. Sound healing instruments: Crystal bowls – Bowls that create a very pure sound called a sine wave. The resonant vibration from crystal bowls transmits through physical and energetic systems for health and balance. Angelina has a full set of 7 chakra crystal bowls (C,D,E,F,G,A,B). These cover physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Himalayan Bowls – Hand hammered singing bowls with grounding tones. They help you reduce anxiety and stress. The sound of Himalayan bowls produces binaural beats encouraging brain waves that help you relax such as beta and theta brain waves. Gong – Induce a state of deep relaxation and access to higher states of consciousness. Gong can stimulate relaxing brain wave states moving from our awake (Beta) state to a relaxed and calm (Alpha) state, to a restful (Theta) state. They cause the heart and respiratory rates to slow down and increase the release of melatonin, endorphin and dopamine chemicals that are linked to feelings of wellbeing and expanded mental clarity.
